Reflection Companion is designed to keep your reflection content on your device.
Your reflection answers and summary are stored in your browser (using local storage) so you can continue where you left off.
By default, we do not send your reflection answers to our servers, and we do not require an account.
This is a preparatory reflection tool—not a substitute for Confession, not spiritual direction, and it offers no moral judgment.
We use minimal analytics (Vercel Analytics and PostHog) to understand overall usage and improve the experience. We record anonymous page views and simple app events (like step completion), but we do not send your written reflection answers/notes to analytics.
To improve the app, we record anonymous usage signals like page views, which step you reached, and which context you chose (Family/Work/etc.). We do not send your written reflection answers/notes or summary text to analytics.
If you choose to use AI Insights on the summary step, the text you choose is sent to our server and then to our AI provider to generate a draft.
You control what information is shared: you can use just your answers and selected patterns (less detailed), or include your full edited summary (more personalized results).
AI is used only to help organize your own words. It does not judge, diagnose, or replace your conscience, prayer, or a priest.
Please avoid including names, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifiers.
AI output is a draft for your review. You stay in control of what you keep or share.
You can use Private Mode to avoid saving reflections to local storage.
You can delete saved data at any time by using Reset in the reflection flow.
You can also export your summary (copy to clipboard or download a text file) to keep it outside the app.
