Reflection Companion is designed to keep your reflection content on your device.
Your reflection answers and summary are stored in your browser (using local storage) so you can continue where you left off.
We do not send your reflection answers to our servers, and we do not require an account.
We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics and PostHog) to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. This collects anonymous page views and basic interaction data, but does not track your reflection content.
If you choose to use AI Insights on the summary step, your reflection data is securely processed by our AI service to generate personalized suggestions and wording.
You control what information is shared: you can use just your answers and selected patterns (less detailed), or include your full edited summary (more personalized results).
AI output is a draft for your review. You stay in control of what you keep or share.
You can use Private Mode to avoid saving reflections to local storage.
You can delete saved data at any time by using Reset in the reflection flow.
You can also export your summary (copy to clipboard or download a text file) to keep it outside the app.
